SAN ANGELO — The Tom Inexperienced County Sheriff’s Business is wanting for other doable victims of Jordan Velez, who is billed with selling merchandise on Fb Market and not providing the solutions.
On Friday, March 11, 2022, the Sheriff’s Place of work gained a report of felony theft and learned Velez, 36, was executing small business as Viking Rental Products and services and selling merchandise on Facebook, in accordance to a news launch.
He sold two pieces of hefty machines to the target on or about December 20, 2021.
“The sufferer, following not acquiring his acquired property, uncovered the mentioned serialized goods had been bought via an auction home in January of 2022,” according to the release. “The victim contacted Jordan Velez quite a few times but did not receive the bought house or a refund.”
On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the Tom Environmentally friendly County Sheriff’s Business office positioned and arrested Velez, who has been charged with theft of residence $2,500<$30,000, for defrauding the customer. He remains in jail as of noon Wednesday in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
“During the course of this investigation, the Sheriff’s Office has learned of three other victims who have either purchased equipment and not received the item, and/or have not received title paperwork for the said items,” the report stated.
